The Railroad Museum at Ardenwood

Our Railroad Museum operates the train at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont. Trains run on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays; as well as Monday holidays and special events from the beginning of April until the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We also hold to fundraiser special events each year: Rail Fair on Memorial Day Weekend and the spooky, not scary, Haunted Train on the two weekends before Halloween. Funds we make go to restoring historic railroad cars that were built in the Bay Area in the 1800s. Some of the historic cars are used on the regular train.
