Nature Walk at Hellyer Park

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 01/08/2022
With the Pacific Flyway going strong, come out and see the birds and wildlife at Hellyer Park.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Join us for a walk at Hellyer Park's Cottonwood Lake area with bird enthusiasts Alie and Bruce Victorine. Naturalist Colter Cook will talk about the plants, mammals, and fungus that you may encounter as well. You'll enjoy the fresh air of the park in winter, and see some local as well as seasonal birds. We will start at Cottonwood Lake and end at the Visitors Center.

Free and accessible. Fee for parking.

*Follow current County requirements. Since this event has a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, wearing a mask and keeping 6-foot social distance when possible is required. We will not provide masks. Also if you feel ill on the day of the event, you agree that you will not attend.

* Proof of vaccination is required*

Hosted by Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful Supported by Santa Clara County Parks and the City of San Jose
