ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Colorado Springs has been at the center of space exploration for over 50 years. Have you ever wondered how we became a hub for pioneering and space exploration? Join Space Foundation Discovery Center director Rachel English for a peek behind the scenes at this remarkable history, and how it is moving forward into the future.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Rachel English is the Director of Space Foundation Discovery Center, an interactive museum and science center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As Space Foundation Discovery Center Director, Rachel is responsible for directing the Discovery Center’s staff and volunteer corps in developing and facilitating the center’s exhibits, field trips, public programming, and laboratory experiences designed for teachers, students and space museum guests. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, English was recognized as a “Rising Star” by the Colorado Springs Business Journal in 2020.
