What our organization offers:
Ages for which our activities are most appropriate:
Bark in the Park™ is the largest dog festival in the US. Bark is a free event, open to all, with a suggested donation of $10 per adult. Dogs and kids under 12 are free! All proceeds from Bark benefit local community organizations and pet-related charities including Humane Society Silicon Valley, San Jose Animal Care Center, and PAWS4SJACS. Founded in 1996, Bark offers a main stage, activities areas, demonstrations, kid’s activities, food, live entertainment and vendor booths focused on dog-related goods and services. Adults and children can learn about different dog breeds, how to select an appropriate pet and how to give it proper care. Non-profit organizations will offer information on fostering, adopting, and spaying and neutering. More than 75 local businesses will offer a wide range of dog-related products and services including veterinarian, kennel, grooming, food, treats, supplies, photography, and merchandise.
